Burning By-Law Discussion-Page45- Staff asked for direction from the council in terms of this by-law. Council directed staff to make some amendments to the by-law to bring forth for approval.
Public Works-Verbal Update
Concerned about road conditions with this freeze/thaw weather we have been having. Predicting quite a lot of clean up this spring.
Christmas lights will come down when the weather cooperates to do so
Presentations
Joanne Stevenson, CEO, Grand Valley Public Library – 2020 Budget and 2019 Year-end presentation. Page 66 . Update- Library will now have 5 hotspots which will soon be available for patrons 18 years of age or older. Council approved the budget.

Accounting Reports approved
Water and Wastewater Rates Study and Water Financial Plan – approved for Watson and Associates quote.
Hanging Baskets on the Main Street- Staff to contact GGG for a quote and to order baskets for this year.
Town Planners Report
Mournahan new application-re-establish lot lines
Crozier Street Lot- Zoning change approved and notice for appeal.
Webb Street- Lots are created and proceeding with the next steps.
Scott St Development- Nothing to report
Coreseed-Provided a proposal for urban expansion will forward to County
Cachet Homes-Waiting on building permits from County-M Plan needed
Thomasfield- Phase 3A model home approved
Urban Design Bylaws for In-fill Applications- Had a meeting with University of Waterloo professor. Collaborative project with University of Waterloo planning students to come up with an Urban Design Bylaw for in-fill applications if approved by the council. The course runs from September-December 2020. Council approved to proceed.
Trailer Park Committee- Another meeting set for March 2nd.
Dufferin County Municipal Comprehensive Review- More details here Planner to provide updates after attending the meetings.
Pending Items List
Inflow and Infiltration and Wastewater Capacity- Discussed the project in the North end of Town on Fife Road and Spruyt Street. Applications for funding and projection of 2021/2022.
Splash Pad- Opening this Spring
By-Law parking and ticketing- officer was sworn in at this meeting and approvals from the courts has been received for set fines. Once tickets have been printed this will be enforced.
