I first met Christina at The Beauty Bar on Main when we were both getting our hair done. We immediately hit it off due not only to our mutual connection of working in the same industry (real estate) but also because of her relaxed and approachable personality, I felt like I had known her for years.

Christina and her family moved to Grand Valley (just outside of town in the country) in August 2020. Christina and her husband chose to move to Grand Valley as they love the small community vibe and felt it would be a beautiful place to raise their blended family. Between Christina and her husband, they have 5 children ages 20, 15, 12, 4 and almost 2 ….. needless to say, they are busy!
When I asked Christina how she got her start as a mortgage agent, Christina said that she had previously worked as an administrative assistant to a mortgage agent which provided her with the opportunity to establish relationships with lenders and lawyers and underwriters. After gaining valuable experience Christina became a licensed mortgage agent and felt she was ready to establish her own career. Four years ago Christina made the transition to being a full-time mortgage agent. Christina said she enjoys helping families make their homeownership dreams a reality. In addition due to her past experiences as a single mother working multiple jobs, Christina said that she empathizes with others who are going through difficult situations and has found that helping her clients navigate through these situations has become an area of expertise.
Christina helps her clients through all types of scenarios from new mortgages, refinancing, consolidating debt to estate planning. Christina also offers credit repair services and works with clients to get them to a place where they can purchase a home. Christina has access to alternative lenders (even short term) to get families back on track especially after a pandemic.
Christina feels it is her job is to provide her client’s with options and ultimately they choose the scenario which best suits them. Any opportunity where Christina can help improve the financial burden to her clients she feels is a privilege.
When I asked Christina what she loved most about Grand Valley she said she feels that she and her family didn’t really get a taste of what the true Grand Valley is like due to moving here during the pandemic however what she looks forward to most are the community events where we can all get our families together, have fun and make memories.
