I had the pleasure of meeting Beth walking around town and we quickly got into a conversation about dogs. This was before Beth had started her business K9 Concierge but I could tell that she was not only passionate about her K9 pal but also about dogs in general.
Beth is a Mother of 3 amazing kids and a Veteran of the United States Air Force.
Beth and family moved to Grand Valley in 2017 before her youngest son was born. Beth said she grew up in a rural setting with a safe, small town feel and she wanted the same opportunity for her kids.
Beth started K9 Concierge in October 2021. Beth has been working dogs professionally now for 7 years, but the pandemic forced her to make a hard pivot and focus on being there for her kids. Starting her own business was the perfect solution to find the right work-life balance and flexibility that both she and her kids needed.
Prior to launch, Beth was really anticipating Play Dates & Potty Breaks and/or Hikes to be the most popular services. However, the biggest hits are Doggie Daycare and Overnight Stays; which is essentially boarding minus the cold and lonely feel of a typical kennel since Beth’s operations are based primarily out of her home.
What do you Love most about Grand Valley?
When I asked Beth this question she said the people are hands down the best part of Grand Valley. Between helping coach the girl’s softball team to starting K9 Concierge, Beth said she has really been able to connect with so many people outside of her circle. Beth looks forward to continuing to meet even more people in the new year!
The goal at K9 Concierge is to offer bespoke pet services to help your dog live their best life.
Even though Beth’s focus is on dogs, custom tailored services are available for most pets. All services posted are just the basics. Beth takes tremendous pride in building service packages for her clients designed just for them.
