Motor Squad Riding School Inc. provides private and group motorcycle lessons to help those that want to learn/improve their riding and gain the confidence and skills necessary to become a safer and more knowledgeable rider. Dori Antione is the local Grand Valley owner/instructor behind Motor Squad Riding School.
I met up with Dori to interview him for this article and even though I didn’t know a lot about motorcycles Dori was very patient, kind and positive in explaining his approach to teaching. His students seem to feel the same way as the positive feedback and reviews all praise Dori on being a calm, positive and knowledgeable instructor.

Dori moved to Grand Valley back in 2015. In 2017 Dori decided to get involved in the community and became a Volunteer Firefighter with the GVFD.
How Motor Squad Riding School Got Started
Dori’s love of motorcycles started back in 2004, he told me a funny story about how he loved motorcycles so much that when he turned 16 and it was time to get his license he surprised his parents and came home with a motorcycle license instead of the expected drivers license. Needless to say his parents got the message early on that their son was more passionate about motorcycles than cars!

Dori even took his passion of riding into his career as a police officer as he is currently serving as a Police Motorcycle Officer in Ontario (aka Police Motor Officer). Throughout his career Dori has had the opportunity to teach and instruct his fellow officers as well as compete in police motorcycle competitions.

Dori noticed through his experience there were limited training options available out there for the general public to teach the skills that are helpful in being a safe, confident and knowledgable rider. Dori opened up the Motor Squad Riding School Inc. to help fill that need.
