Taylor Lawn Care (TLC) is owned and operated by Bryan Taylor. Bryan was born and raised in Grand Valley and his family has farmed in the area for generations. Interesting fact for those that live on Taylor Drive, that is the property that was originally the Taylor farm which Bryan grew up on. Bryan still lives in Grand Valley with his wife Krista (Krista is the owner and operator of Krista’s Sweets N’ Treats).

Taylor Lawn Care got its start 17 years ago with one lawn and a manual push mower. Bryan and Krista’s oldest son Kristopher (who was a teenager at the time) was the young entrepreneur who started it all and over the years grew the business to include more lawns and enlisted the help of his brother Justin and Dad when needed. When Kristopher graduated from high school his brother Justin took over the business.

When Justin was ready to move on and step into his career as a welder (Justin lives locally and is the owner of his welding company Samson Welding) Bryan jumped in to help and took over the lawn cutting business.

After 2 years of juggling his full-time job and the lawn care business, Bryan made the decision to leave the factory that he had worked at or over 24 years and step fully into operating Taylor Lawn Care. That was four years ago and Bryan hasn’t looked back and is now servicing over 50 residential and commercial customers in the Grand Valley and surrounding area.

When I asked Bryan what he loves the most about Grand Valley where he has lived all of his life Bryan said it would have to be the friendliness of the residents, he said there is something about that small-town feel of knowing your neighbour and giving them a wave and a hello. Bryan is a farm boy at heart and said that if he can’t be farming then cutting grass is the next best thing.

Taylor Lawn Care provides Residential and Commercial Grass Cutting & Trimming, mulch delivery, dump runs, local Grand Valley snow removal (using a snowblower) and since the town has ceased the bulk loose leaf removal in the fall Bryan offers leaf clean up service as well.
