I love running outside but when the cold weather forces me indoors I usually do a workout at home as I dread jumping in my car to drive to a gym 20 minutes away. It can be hard to find a way to keep active and exercise in Grand Valley especially when the cold weather hits like it has these past few weeks.
Amrita has come to the rescue with Fitness Boot Camps and One to One training sessions located right in Grand Valley at her home. Amrita kindly offered me to join one of her Boot Camp sessions and I jumped at the chance.
Amrita makes you feel comfortable right away with her friendly smile and easy demeanour. The night I joined the session we started off the group class by assessing our fitness ability and then proceeded with a workout class.
Amrita helps attendees modify exercises based on skill level so you never have to worry about not being able to participate. She also holds you accountable and makes sure you level up when needed so that you can get the most out of your workout. I couldn’t believe how much harder I worked when I had someone to encourage and support me through the workout.
Amrita also prioritizes proper form and technique in her classes to help target muscle groups and prevent injuries. I found this super helpful as when you work out on your own as I do form can be compromised without knowing it!
